Has anyone heard of the 4.3 liter stroker kit. I saw one in a Z at H.I.N. in Indianapolis tonight.





I didn't have long to talk to the guy but he said there were only 9 made and 2 left. I don't know I never heard of it.

It's actually a combination of boring and stroking to get the 4.3L displacement.

 

search and you will find alot of threads on it. all i hear are problems.

 

Ther must be a lot of problem if only 2 of the 9 made are left.

 

What is exactly that goes wrong with them

 

Isnt it issues with the coolant flow or something like that?

 

Last I knew there was problems with it and FI because the kit requires removal of some material from the block in the crankcase which many would consider a bad design element for a stroker kit.
