Post Talked to Nissan Motorsports in Gardena, CA today...

got the number from my dealer. Played dumb and asked about Z33 NISMO parts. Was told that the official launch for product availability in the States would be mid-May.

May? I've had my car for damn near six months now and was wondering how long it would be before I could get around paying air freight from Japan. Hell, let's just make it an entire year, Nissan. Wait till August so I COMPLETELY lose interest in spending a single, f**king dime with one of your dealers.

Way to go NNA! You guys are SO on top it.

They have alot of things I want (appearance wise mainly ie; spoiler etc)

This is bad news. The parts coming to the states would lower the price, that is why I have waited.

Good thing I planned on appearance mods last.

Just go through other means to get the parts. I know I probably paid $300-500 more for the suspension than it will be available for in a few months, but I don't care. I got the suspension now and even though it seemed a hassle at the time, it was totally worth it. The only thing that makes me mad is that I didn't have the choice to get this suspension from the get go.

If they're anything like programmers, then I give them mid-July.

Michael.

NMC is having a Parts and Service Managers meeting, trade show and car salon in Las Vegas toward the end of March. Being that I'm forced to attend (gee darn) I should have some news to bring back with me. RUMOR has it that they will have the Nismo parts there for us to see with a talk about the launch of the program as well.

Hey I'm a programmer! I'd say mid August.

Or maybe...2004?

No, when they showed the concept at detroit in 2001, they said, nismo, the coupe and convertible would all debut simultaneously. Actually, I figured the coupe wouldn't have even come out until last december.
