i just like the look of the drop w/ the 19's i have 19" volks too, but i need to wait on the hks suspension and exhaust.. but your car is what i plan on mine looking like, simple.. no body kit on nice rims..

anyways how much did you drop it, and do you have a problem w/ speed bumps and scratching at all?

Normally I'm a huge proponent of lowering cars, and your car does look good lowered, but I think it looks perfect stock height and won't be lowering mine at all.

Looks good though!

looks great when dropped. I don't think you need the NISMO kit, for one thing, it WILL scrape. That is one low ground clearance!!

Anyway, one bad *** Z!!

Looks like it pulls the BOTTOM of the wheel in huh? Most camber setup push the top of the wheel out.

hi wadd3456,

i am not a suspension guru. you know way more than i do.

the only thing i know is that it is adjustable in 2 places.

in the first pic:

1) there is an adjustable offset bushing to the left. you can see in the middle of the offset bushing that there is a dot for center, i believe.

2) there is an adjuster on the camber rod also, to the right.

hope the pix help in your project.

talk to you later,
john

hey 2k3silver350z,

i have the traction rod, but didn't install yet because you have to drop the rear subframe in order to get that big bolt out.

anyways, if you guys did it without dropping the rear subframe, let me know.

have fun and good luck on the install.

heh well everything besides one of the traction rods was installed. JIC forgot 2 of the metal pieces that go into the end of the rod which freaken sucks ***. as of right now all of it is on there. i didn't personally do the install a local shop did it and as far as i know they didn't drop the subframe out. they put the car onto the lift undid the bolts and put the pieces back in. the camber/toe looks a lot better. i can't freaken believe how much negative camber there is stock. i've already gone through a set of rear tires as a result. i'm going back satuday if the part gets to me on time. it's sleeting and pouring down freezing rain as of right now so hopefully that will clear up.

hey 2k3silver350z,

what is missing from your traction rod kit?

i'm looking at my pic of the traction rods and your pic, and it looks like there is nothing missing. just 2 rods.

also, can you give me the name & # where they installed your set-up.

let me know and thanx,
john

there's a local firestone that does anything and everything with suspensions since no one else here will. i've dealt with them a few times before.

(540) 344-6218

as for the piece that was missing it was on the camber kit. it's the two metal pieces that go into the end of the rod. they forgot one set and only gave me two instead of four. so right now three of their bars are on and one is off untill i get the pieces. i didn't realize how bad our camber on our cars is until we adjusted it. the car feels like it rides better also.
