Default my jic flt-a2 coilovers and rear camber adj. link r installed

well, just got them installed and it looks real good.

i set the dampers on #2 click right now and drove home. pretty stiff suspension, but i like it!!!!!! need to play with dampers to find my personal setting!

you will feel every bump with this set-up. if you want a more street ride, i recommend the tein flex (my buddy has the teins in his car).

i dropped the car pretty low, like the rays-volk racing 350z on their website.

anyways, i need to set camber to 0 in the rear when i have a chance and get an alignment.

i did buy the jic rear traction rod, but didn't have time to get it installed because you need to take that w-frame from the underside off and drop the rear subframe down in order to take a loooooooong bolt out.

i think i'll install that rear traction rod when the jic front adjustable a arms and rear toe control arms come in.

i'll take pix soon.

i will also be getting my stoptech 4 wheel big brake kit installed this coming tuesday feb. 5 at dynospot racing in san jose, ca.

talk to you guys later,
john350z

Sounds cool.

Hurry up with those pics!!! I can't wait to see what your setup looks like.

Also, be sure to write a detailed review so we can all be jealous.

Thanks!

i'm thinking hard about the nismo kit, but my car is sooo low.

what do you guys think. get nismo kit, or stay simple with the nissan aero package?

let me know,

john

oh yeah: txstyle - i was always jealous of your lowered 350z sig pic. coming closer to the lowered look of your car with stoptechs!!!

to all who e-mailed me on where i bought my aftermarket products:

i got the jic flt-a2 coilovers and rear camber adjustment from paul at avalon.

he's a real great guy. would definitely buy again. A+ transaction.

my gunmetal wheels were from r&d motorsports.

my silver te-37 wheels are from jeremy and audra at streetsports.
real good people at streetsports too.

john

Can you supply any pictures of the camber kit or a rough idea of what it looks like? I want to drop but I also want correct camber. If its simple enough, I will have my machine shop guys build that kit......... hence why pics would help

hi mr. fairlady,

thanx for the compliment. yes i did drop the car a lot, but i wanted my car to look like the top secret car that was on the rays/volk racing web site.

one thing though about dropping the car low. even though i got the rear camber kit from jic, you will need all of the jic suspension components on order to dial the camber back to around stock.

after the drop, my alignment was shot. my rears especially were a -3 to almost -4.

my alignment guy was able to dial everything (front/rear) out to -2 (the best he could do).

can't wait till jic completes it's rear suspension components and gets that front adjustable a-arm complete.

i guess i'll be going through tires for a while.

still debating about the nismo kit. hopefully the r-tune carbon fiber kit comes out soon. would love to have that. but if the nissan nismo race car front end, side skirts, and rear wing is produced for sale, i'm there.

talk to you later,
john350z

THAT'S THE FRONT END I"M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!!!!!!

Looks real good! Personally, I would keep it like that. Maybe add a small lip up front and get the oem spoiler, it would look slick.

LOL! Thanks man. You will absolutely LOVE the brakes! They look and work soooooo well. Which pads did you go with? And it looks like you beat me to the punch with the suspension. j/k That is one of my many upcoming 'mods' which include:
Bodykit
Mobile - Home Theater install
Exhaust
and some type of Forced Induction
All of which should be installed no later than my Birthday in July!
Keep us posted and congrats!
