G35 mods?
Any performance parts can be shared?
I heard G35 engine is sitting closer to the middle for better weight distribution.
Sounds like Z intake and exhaust system won't fit on G, right?

if it is true, its probably only due to the fact that the whole thing is longer. but no that sort of specific mod wont swap, but the manufacturer should be able to easily modify it to fit the other. but they have to make those small changes and then offer that as well. but I wouldnt advise buying parts made for the Z, for a G.
The Z and the G35 are pretty much identical as far as engine and drivetrain. They can share performance parts that install directly to the engine or trans. I doubt exhaust systems will interchange on the cars due to exhaust pipe lengths.
Their suspension components are different, so those wont interchange because of vehicle weight, length, etc...

If that's the case I wonder if that's what's contributing to the bouncy ride. If Nissan engineers got lazy and designed the suspension for the heavier G35 and ported them same spring rates over to the Z it would give a bouncy ride on the lighter car.

I spoke with JIC and a rep of JIC's. They told me the suspension is the same. The G35 coupe JIC setup is the same as the 350z JIC setup.
I've heard they would have different setups because of the weight difference and wheel base difference. I guess that was wrong info, and it doesn't matter comming from some suspension experts.
