Default Buying used JWT cams from a blown engine, should I be worried?

I've got the chance to buy a set of JWT cams for a good price. The problem is, these cams are coming out of a blown engine (FI).

I don't see why there would be an issue with the cams, but then again, I'm a newbie to this.

Anyone have any reasons that I shouldn't buy them?

it all depends on how it blew up.when a engine blows metal gets into the oil and is circulated through out the engine.id be cautious about these cams as who know,s what they endured during the blow up.the oil filter cant trap everything.

unless the engine blew up by dynamite then there is a 80% chance the cams are fine. but GMZ is right...inspect the cams for any irregularities...

Thanks for the help guys. I don't know the full extent of the damage to the engine, so I'll have to talk to the seller a bit more.

Its liekly the block is scraped, so the cams are Id say 9/10 fine...Id go ahead and do it. If the heads are fine on the motor in question no worries.
