Ask your self why the factory doesn't use this chip and fire lots of expensive engine engineers. Why would they not spend $25 and beat every competitor in a magazine test?
There are ways to cheat OBD2 sensors but 95% cause more problems than they solve.
Much of the aftermarket industry depends on low education levels in science and technology to sell their products to the 95% of car owners.
To gain a single NA [no nitrous no supercharging] HP usually requires an expenditure of $50 or more each. Torque can be even more expensive per lb/ft and hits brick wall limits above 85lb/ft per liter.
10 HP $500............100HP $5000

The general idea of the +20 HP chip is to trick the ECU to change the A/F ratio by changing the output voltage from the MAF...I actually bought one of these chips from ebay for my Civic last year b/c it was only $5 and I just wanted to see how and if it actually worked - I felt no difference in power and saw no change in MPG...it seemed like the chip was specifically designed for any car - LOL.
Here's a good article on engine A/F ratios to see what the 'chip' is advertising to do: http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...to_tap_faq.htm
