Will an engine Damper fit with my Kinetix SSV plenum? Please let me know!

 

I purchased the one off e-bay and it doesn't come anywhere near the plenum.. It mounts from the passenger side front of engine to a bolt hole pattern on the passenger side frame.. By the way I was curious if this was gonna do anything so before installing it I took a cut up broom handle and wedged it in where the damper would be located. Prior to and post broom handle driving saw no improvement whatsoever..The engine does not vibrate in idle without it nor with it..I believe it's because the Vortech S/C mass on the drivers side of the engine serves as a counter weight and balances the engine dynamics..Wish I had done this experiment before buying it... So I will sell the damper.
