Very nice.

I was just wondering what the offsets on your volks were, and how do you like the JIC coil overs?

Thanks.

Wink John, let me help you answer some of the questions!!

Nice to finally meet you, bro.

Those are 19X8.5 and 19X9.5 TE37s on his car. 22mm offset all around wrapped in SO3s.

I think Jeremy can give one of the best quotes for these rims!

That is a sweet ride.....can't wait till he puts on his silver TE37s.

wow, so many replies!!!

ok, first of all thanx for the compliments guys!!!

now to answer everyone's questions.

ares-next mod is getting a helmet and taking driving lessons at the track

mrfairlady-drive is fine, not too bumpy. a little more bumpy than stock on freeway, but you will feel every bump on street roads. (i live in california and the streets and freeway arepretty good here)
can't wait to see your mods!!!!!!! i did not take out bumpstops.

selski12-i am selling my gunmetals te-37s to chebosto. i will be replacing them with flat silver te-37s. i have no plans in removing stickers though. (i will be offending the gods)
again thanx for the HOT DAMN compliment, but your ride is DA BOMB also!!!!!!!!!

d'oh-broke the brakes in a little going back home to sac from the bay area. they stop pretty good during the brake in. and when i mean stop during the 70mph to 40mph brake in, it literally threw the stuff in my trunk forward. install was $$$$ since it was a 4 wheel kit. fronts were not bad install. dust shields had to be cut and shaved down for both front and rear.

jason-i have not taken off the rays eng/volk racing stickers. i didn't want to offend the gods and bring destruction to innocent peeps.

nwind21-

stoptech brakes - Dick Chiang at www.dynospotracing.com

gunmetal volk wheels - r&d

flat silver volk wheels - Jeremy at www.streetsports.com

jic flt-a2 coilovers and rear camber and traction bar - Paul at http://www.avalonracing.net/

all are good companies to work with. good communications also.

xbs-call around. the kit, i believe, msrps at $4500. my buddy at dynospot racingsells alot of these, but jeremy at streetsports or paul at avalon racing can help you out also.

my 4 wheel kit is 14" (355mm) all around with 4 piston calipers all around.

mytalon - car handles well!!!!!!!!! read my reply for mrfairlady on ride.

maximumpwr - from my ride home and during brake in, they stoppp pretty good. i am impressed!

del105 - i covet your car too!

chebosto - yes! helmet and track time! oh yeah, after i get sway bars.

A to the Z and integrate - if you read this reply and moodie's post, you should get the whole scoop. thanx for the help on this moodie.

moodie - glad to finally meet you and keep in touch. can't wait till the next 350z meet for northern california.

talk to you later guys,
john

Whe you are ready for Stop Tech's, JIC's etc, we can easilly take care of you.

Default drops on the JIC's

You can get a full 2" drop with the kit.

oh yeah, these are the first set of the 4-wheel big brake kit from stoptech!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First: AWESOME setup! Tasteful yet agressive!
Second: Did you go with 332mm or 355mm fronts?
Third: "I must get suspension....QUICKLY!"

Way to go dude!

By the way. How is ride quality affected? Less bouncy, about the same? Is this setup adjustable?

John went with 355mm rotors all around!

Speaking of which, I used to have a FWD (Acura Integra) like a lot of imports, and I see them only upgrading front brakes. Since the 350z is a RWD, I wonder if upgrading just the front brakes will be effective or does it matter???

It doesn't matter if you're FWD, RWD, or AWD, it's all about what happens to the weight distribution when you brake. All the weight is transferred to the front of the car, therefore larger front brakes are necessary to disappate the heat.

Replacing all four brakes is really just for the additional visual appeal. It doesn't do much for actual stopping force.

Does look very very nice though.

Default Drops

Depending on the configuration and the actual corner weights on the car, drops from .5" to 3" are possible.
