Default How can I fix the suspension bouncing?

Okay so I am getting tired of bouncing down the highway in my Z. Sports cars ride hard and jittery sometimes but they should not bounce or porpoise. My former RX7 TT did no such thing and road just as flat.

So I am thinking that instead of spending $1500-2000 on an adjustable suspension setup, maybe I can just replace the front and rear dampers (shocks) with adjustable ones for much less $$$.

Any thoughts on this approach and suggestions for brands of adjustable dampers? Basically you could replace the dampers for like $300-400 vs. $1500-2000 for full suspension replacement.

Thanks,
Ja

Good question!

I think it is probably too early to get any meaningful feedback from folks who have tried alternate suspension components. Everyone is becoming aquainted with their new car and have just begun to deal with things that could be improved. I for one will not spend $2K+ to upgrade my suspension as I do not plan to track this car. I read where Koni is working on it, and so istokico, but they are not available yet.

I think that a suspension house will solve the problem in time by offereing a new spring/absorber combo, but for now, we don't have much to play with.
