Default Coilover owners, need opinions please

First off I appreciate any of you taking the time to respond...

OK, I have a track model that is a second car. I plan on driving to work as often as weather permits. It is a 30 mile trip each way on the interstate. I plan on taking my 40 year old wife(seems to be more sensitive to discomfort now that she hit 40) on dates. You know dinner movies etc...

Now for the fun part! I plan on 3-4 trips to Brainerd here in Minnesota as well as at least 1-2 trips to Road America per year to get my car on the track. Woohoo!! Both of these tracks are VERY high speed with very few turns under 70-80mph. I don't want to give up too much either way but I obviously have to.

Here are my questions:
JIC owners- With the rear spring being so stiff can you actually dampen it to a tolerable level for freeway droning? It seems like the Tein Flex kit might make more sense, but at the slightly less rear Tein rates same question... Will my wife be able to ride w/o complaining?

Nismo kit owners. The Nismo parts seem thin and fragile (in pictures). Those that have had them for a little while, Do they feel sturdy enough for repeated 130mph blasts through turn 1 at BIR? How do the spring rates feel in comparison to stock?

Has anyone drove a 350 with more than one of these systems?

Is the HKS kit going to be any better than the stock spring/shock combo for the track?

Thanks a TON for listening and offering your opinions! I've set a deadline of next weekend to make up my mind. If I don't set a date I might just keep reading the same threads in here over and over... and never buy anything :-) In my industry they call it analysis paralysis...

She will continue to complain, thats what they do best.

They are significantly stiffer.

It's doubtful that anyone could afford to try more than one of the alternatives, however if someone has I would beinterested too!.

Will now let me look into my crystal ball. Maybe...

Papa, Since the aftermarket industry is just starting to provide us with goodies, there is very little feedback from the very few folks who have bought these upgrades. The suspension systems that are available have not been significantly tested and results fedback to us yet. Please let us know what you do to improve your ride so we can make our respective decisions.

I read somewhere that NISMO was doing durability tests on the parts they plan to offer in the USA at their Arizona testing facility. No details on how rigorous the testing is but at least it shows that are trying to ensure that the parts will hold up under stress.
