Your speedo does not need to be recalibrated.

Jason, the 3.7 ring & pinion is out of a Frontier. Doesn't it have a live axle? Are the pinions shafts even the same length?

the 3.7 is like a 3.69 its from a fx35 or g35 awd or m35 awd. anyone look into how much a salvage or used pumpkin is from one of these? is the whole pumpkin a direct swap?

3.7 is out of a fronter... the ring and pinion is exactly the same... everything else in the rear end, thats a different story...

we have installed a handfull of these for the 350z / g35...

i do not believe the FX pumpkins will swap...

Jason,

So the Nismo LSD will work with 3.9 gears (like Central 20)? will other LSDs like Cusco and ATS carbon work with the FD??

I'm looking to get both LSD and FD and would like to know which one is a better combo

Thanks for your help

Any LSD that works with the OE 3.5 Gear Set will work with the 3.9 or 3.7 gear sets...

So yes, the NISMO LSD will work the 3.9 or 3.7 gear sets as well as OE 3.5 gear set... It will NOT work with the OE 3.3 gear set...

Although, the Companion Flange on 04.X and UP must be changed for 3.9 / 3.7 gear sets to work in the OE housing of the later model Z's... 03 and early 04 dont need to worry about that though...

All of those LSDs will work with the 3.9 gearing. For a good street setup with a bit more pick-up, I would highly suggest the 3.7 gears and Nismo LSD.
