Default Just dynoed my car

I had Zcargarage put on front and rear camber kits. I told Rob that my car was running really crappy, so Rob suggested I dyno my car to see whether my car is running correctly. After the dyno, Rob told me that my AFCII was pulling fuel at idle, and that was the reason why my car's idle fluctuates. He then proceed to adjust my AFC so the car would run better. But my car would ping at certain RPM which ROb will try to figure out next week when i take my car in for a header install. He said it could be my plugs are fouled, or it could be other things. I will let him figure all that out. But i dynoed at 245 whp and 235 trq.
My mods are JWT, kinetix v+ plenum, strup test pipe, HKS Ti exhaust, and ground wires. Are the numbers ok with these mods or could it have been higher?

Your numbers seem to be right. As when Rob Dynoed my car with the 5/16 Motordyne spacer, stock intake, Sun Hyper Force System, and Amuse TI exhaust. My dyno was 247 whp and 233 torque.

Why? Do you know anything about rob's dyno? Does the OP have a revup, or base motor? Please tell me why he's "weak" in your opinion.

245 is just fine. It really all comes down to the dyno more than anything else.

There can be huge variation in power numbers from dyno to dyno.

I've seen guys dyno on a Dynapack and be all happy. 3 weeks later they dyno on a Mustang and they get all pissed off with the lower numbers.

Its kinda funny to see people get all worked up with (absolute) dyno numbers though. The're just different units of conversion. All that matters is how you compare on the same machine.

I used to have a S-AFC and got it tuned. It does gain a bit power on the dyno.
After a while, the ecu will take over and the S-AFC won't do it job anymore. Such a waste of time and money. That's what I found out about it. You can see no one on here tune with S-AFC.

Rob recommended Unichip for my setup. I was thinking about buying right there and have him custom tune it, but i ran out of time. But most likely i will end up getting it. Whats the advantage of Unichip over Technosquare? Aren't Technosquare custome tuned as well?

Do you plan to chip your ride? I would like to get more info from you regarding different FI setups and what the advantages Superchargers have over Turbo or vise versa.

I am currently Supercharged and am not chipped at all. Just using the SS-box that came with the Vortech. Superchargers and Turbos have different setups. Superchargers give you power right off of the bat and has no lag time. And Turbos have to spool up for boost and sometimes have lag time. But you can always upgrade a turbo and have no lag at all. All in all there are lots of posts here about turbo Vs. Superchargers. Just search in the force induction forums which has ton's of topics and info you are seeking. Good luck in your ventures in FI.

The most accurate dyno in the world, one person is about the same as the next for measuring power and much less expensive than paying someone to dyno your care.

Take it to the track and your trap speed tells the horsepower story.
