Default AT/MT swap

Hi all, need help. I know I'm an idiot but I purchased (paid cash) for an new 05' tour AT Z figuring it be an everyday LA traffic car but soon after wheels and cold air intake I got the modifacation bug and end up with supercharger and about $20,000 in mods and am currently getting a AT/MT swap(including upgrades of excedy clutch,Jun flywheel, nismo 1.5 LSD,carbon driveshaft,3.9 FD). My question is does anyone know if I need a 6sp ECU? or will my old ecu work? does anyone see any other problems?

Yes, you need a 6spd ecu and be sure it's for a non-revup engine.

yeah, If I had to do it again the Porsche Cayman looks really good. I spent enough money on this car to buy the cayman..if you decide to do it I can provide you a list and make sure the shop is reputable.

Your car was in the Ruther center transmission shop getting converted this weekend right?...

Motordyne is moving into the facility across from the transmission shop. I was there this weekend overseeing the construction of the new offices and I couldn't help but notice your hot looking Z being modified.

I asked the mechanic what he was doing and he described your AT --> MT conversion. Not many people do this conversion. Let alone in a black fairlady Z with wheels and a supercharger.

thanks man, how did she look?sob..sob.. she been away for the past 2 months getting the conversion. it's in the tranny shop because there was something binding in the lsd(the bad way) after the swap it went directly to abe transmission because I noticed a bad popping sound from tranny/rear end.

If I had to do it all over again, the EVO looks pretty good, but no way in hell I'd shell out for a tranny conversion... way too much $$$

Good thing I knew I wanted 6MT right off the bat
