Blower or Turbo?
I'm considering a turbo charger or a super charger for my car. The question I have is this: is there an advantage of one or the other when considering reliability. I don't want to be doing major engine work any more than necessary.
Incidently I live at about 5000 ft above sea level and travel in the mountains up to 8-10k ft regularly. I'm looking for economical, reliable, and reasonable power gains. I already have free'd up airflow in the intake and exhaust departments. Any shared experiences or advice is appreciated.

I'm gonna go with a blower, but the main reason for that decision is that I'm going to track my car, and turbo isn't ideal for track driving. Turbo can slap you in the face with power sometimes, and a blower will never ever do that. Blowers give you linear power gain, and more closely mimick NA performance. The last thing you want is to be going 90 mph through a turn where you're just barely maintaning traction, and getting a power spike, and kicking your back end out. That's bad.
