lol BS to whoever said "Built motor and an upgraded JWT TT and your over 700"....on Modified mag they had a APS twin turbod 350Z with headwork & sleeves and all those goodies..had 667 rwhp...gonna take a lil more than just TT's...its gonna take a stroker kit, cams, sleeves, exhaust, injectors, a HELL of a tuner, pullies, P. Spacer, low compression pistons in the stroker, and LOTS of boost...not just a TT kit and a simple stroker kit

Why use a tiny B18s when Pros are switching to K24's for 2.8L+ combos?

On $150 Vitara pistons and $300 Tuner Toy rods (t3/4 57trim 25psi 420whp or so) my friends SOHC 1.6L CIvic went 11.43@127 on stock sleeves and stock head

A Sleeved K series will make well over 1000whp when the wick is turned up as B seires combos have made over 1000whp in race trim for a few years now and are deep in the 8's/High 7's territory

There are many "street" Sportsman FWD entries who cruise on the weekends and make 700+whp on high boost

Its all a matter of head flow and the Z's doesnt flow anywhere near as well as a Honda head does unfortunately ---- hopefully the new castings on the HR motor will flow better than current gen

I think people are so used to the ultra high price tags because of all the custom fab ----- I still say pistons/rods huge single 600whp on 15K is very doable

Nice try but at that point the turbochargers are the chokepoint of that system. You can get 700whp out of a Z with a sleeved block and no stroker kit. 3.8l overbore is PLENTY.

You are wrong, that was a red Z built by Jotech it was a Greddy kit with the 20G upgrade.

Yes it is on stock gearing, that link that Marbleshade posted is about me destroying 3rd gear after I shot that 50-160mph vid...

600whp is easily achievable, and you dont necessarily need upgraded turbos, head work, or anything of that nature. Every little little bit helps, but we did 580whp (Independent Dyno Jet Certified) at 15.5psi on Alberto's car on pump gas (shortblock, and cams). We did 742 whp Dynojet on Bam Bam's car, which I "think" is the highest proven street 350Z in the country. Next benchmark is 800whp, which we'll be trying on my car very shortly.

i mean if you dont mean street Z's... arent there 2 Z's over 1000hp in LI? and as long as they are still running a VQ engines, whether or not they are street vehicles shows the power potential of these engine. I dont believe they have a stroker kit either... but then again I dont really know the details of the engines in these cars. they are 6's and 8's I believe...

600whp on c2 or other high octane wouldn't be too hard with built internals. 600whp on 91 is where I would like to be
