You have no LSD on a base. If i am not mistaken, there are aftermarket LDS's available though.

Best bet is to buy a whole Pumpkin with the gearing and VLSD you want in it and bolt it up.

you can sway the complete pumpkin, but some years have different size flanges I think it was.

if you were building WITH your non Vlsd pumpkin you can get a drop in Quaife unit, or any of the others you need stub axles (and some other things). The nismo unit comes with the extra stuff you need to install.

I saw Z-1 selling a conversion package for the Cusco RS unit for a base pumpkin.

It depends, if you want a quaife, then you should stick with your current setup. Decide if you want a stock VLSD diff, or aftermarket. If you go aftermarket decide on you diff, then change your pumpkin according to what is needed to work with the diff.

and if you are FI, now might be a good time to switch to the auto final drive.

or if you are staying NA, break it open and do the 3.9 gears if you want.

a quaife is a gas discharge from a female's vagina.

lol, it is a brand of LSD. very nice unit.

check the F/S section. other memers with autos swap to 6mt final drive and sell thier pumpkins or swap. ditto on VLSD pumpkins. that is really the only source that isn't exensive. also junkyards if you can find them.
