Default A/C question.

I do not have the service manual, but i need to recharge my a/c next week when the engine goes in. Would anyone know off hand how much oil and what type the compressor holds and how much r134 it takes? Also where is the low side port to charge it located at? Those of you that have done this yourself, do you have to jump the compressor to make it take the first can or so in?

You must use an AC machine to remove system moisture [vacuum for 15 minutes] If you left system exposed [open for more than 30 minutes] you must replace the receiver dryer.

If compressor longevity is important let a professional recharge and service.

Yep im screwed, new receiver. Well i wont need it untill summer anyway. I should make those stupid people at the dealer pay for it since they are the ones that left it open for over a month.
