Hello everyone I'm new to the Z club but not to Nissan I also have a 240sx but that’s neither here nor there.

Back to the reason of my post I bought a 03, 350z it has about 41k miles on it. Tonight I noticed a strange ticking sound coming from my shifter area, rather below it. You can only really hear it around 4500 rpm in any gear. Anyone know what this noise may be? I have the extended warranty on the thing. In any case is this just a typical sound this car makes or something that needs to be looked at?
