Default koyo radiator

i'm looking for some opinions guys. i'm in the process of getting my car ready for forced induction and major engine work. a friend has a new koyo oem radiator he wants a 100 dollars for. would it hold up with samco hoses, nismo radiator cap, thermostat and water wetter or should i save up for the racing one?

I would save up for an aftermarket one with a larger core. Maybe a calsonic or fluidyne? Heat will be your main concern when you run force induction. Just like innercoolers, why whould you want just a OEM size?

Keep in mind that there are clearence probs with some FI systems and u may HAVE to go with the 30mm as opossed to the standard 50mm Koyo.
BTW--Stock is around 15mm

A Koyo OEM replacement will add no cooling performance to your car. You need one of their racing rads. Some kits like the turbonetics, Vortech, and Procharger will not fit with any aftermarket rad.
