Nothing will be bullet proof at that level.

I have the driveshaft shop level 5 or whatever axles that are supposed to be good for 800bhp and a carbon fiber driveshaft from ACPT thats should be good for 1500bhp IIRC.

If you looking at that kind of power im guessing you are going with some other trans then the stock one. So youll have to wait and get the correct measurments for your driveshaft length.

I think that your axles and driveshaft may bot be your first problem at the power level on our cars.

I'm well aware. I have every other component selected besides the driveshaft now. I'll check out ACPT

To be honest I don't really know if anyone has had enough power yet to really ruin the stock driveshaft.

Any input from other members would be great on this.

Nope, noone has the power yet.

The 350Z community will be in for a treat mid-June 07.

For that much I hope that you are going to be pushing more than that horsepower.

I'd stick w/ an aluminum driveshaft made by any one of the guys that supply the pro 5.0 field. ACPT burnt their bridges w/ me years ago. We went thru 3 of their driveshaft on a Supra before I could convince the owner to go w/ an aluminum one. Nothing like watching the car twitch as the lights fall and watch a cloud of dust roll out from under car as another ACPT carbon driveshaft gone boom.

The level 5's from DSS should hold the power. If not, well they warrenty the axles not to break so your not out more money.

Obviously. But it's a decent reference number.

Yea, it has all the trademarks thus far, but let's wait a few more posts and see. The $120k almost clinched it for me...

No dis-respect to the Z community, but why would you put $120k into a 350z? Why not get a supercar? or better yet a Skyline

sorry but i have to +2 to the BS FLAG.

For way less than $120K you can make a ~1000hp+ 350z ....
