Default Question, cruise control gas consumption

Isnt cruise control suppose to be more efficent in its way of maintaining a speed and thus releaving the constant rpm giving motion that may decrease milage. Im curious to as if using cruise control gives beter gas milage at all, cause from my expirence u burn more gas. In florida i tend to use it alot on my z because its just confrotable and the hand throttle tends to make the ride a little more intresting but, im curious to as is this increases gas milage or decreases cause im noticing im fulling up more when using it. Yea yea im a lazy bastard but florida roads man ,what can i say driving a hour on the same road everyday lol. whats u guys take on gas consumption with CC.

I suppose driving habits and how fast you have it set can all factor in. I know when I travel to Richmond (120 miles one way) and have it set on 78mph I get 25+ mpg. If I don't use it I get 24+ mpg. So give my experience I guess it saves gas.
