Default Need some parts

Just got my 06 and I want to start the modding...Here is what I plan on first:

Plenum/Spacer
Intake
Exhaust/test pipes
Flash/or Utec

How does this sound for a start ..then

Where can I get a deal from a dealer if I buy it all at the same time..

Thanks

p.s: I will be going TT approx 6-8 mths after these mods...any issues w/any of these w/the TT..or will i be able to still keep them all...I know the exhaust I might not be able to do to 2.5 vs 3 inch.

if your getting a TT then don't buy the intake... theres gonna be no use for it and it would be a waste of $100-$500. Plenum/Spacer w/ E/TP sounds good but i dont think you'll need a flash... not untill you get a built motor with your TT.

Wait 6-8 months, then get the TT.
That makes a lot more sense.

*low backpressure = more power
low exhaust velocities = reduced scavenging effects = loss of low/mid range power

get the Utec ~ you can use it NA and FI.

I would suggest that you first enjoy your 06, as is; attend meets and get to chat with as many people with Z/s; talk to them and view the mods up front close and personal.

We have done 800 whp just with the stock plenum, I still have the stock plenum; and now it's polished.

Check out the various turbo kits, get to ride in them. Take your time and enjoy yourself, your ride.

Our club is working on a meet with two well known engine builders present discussing about the VQ and its performance potential. We have another meet in June where will be racing the NASCA track with instructors. Get the feel and know your car better and plan a strategy that suits you and your budget.

There are lots of options in the tri-state area.

Holiday greetings and best of the New Years.

G
