Default Idling

My idling has been pretty much normal, stayed constantly around 600rpm before i cleaned my JTW pop charger. But for some odd reason, the idling rose up to 800 after i cleaned my pop charger. It just stayed there even after i reset my ECU. Any suggestion why the idling increased??

Did you get any K&N oil vapor on MAF element or temp sensor in MAF assembly?.............transported by air flow.

No, i don't think so. I only lighlity sprayed the oil onto the filter. I even washed the filter and let it dry over night before i applied the oil. How do I check if any vapor has caused the idling problem? Also, when i unplug the MAF and Plug it back in, it would actually get a little better. But the idling would still be a little bit high.

happened to me recently... I installed Iridiums, ran with stock intake for a week then went back to Stillen CAI (there is a reason but I won’t waste time explaining)... cleaned MAF, throttle body and Air filter - not sure which of these things cause it but my idle was about 400rmp high... reset ECU and it’s back to normal.

Do an ECU reset and you should be fine.
