Default VQ in its infancy ??

What exactly does that mean? I've read many say this, but what will be developed in the future to take this platform to the next level?

With the HR out, will the further developement of DE aftermarket parts stall or are they essentially the same? I'm assuming the potential lies in cams, heads, pistons, turbo's and such.

I'm sure we have enough techies in this group that can at least give a preliminary response.

Well a good question to ask is, what parts of the HR can we use to give us effective power increase.

I believe if anyone can take it to the next level, it would be GTM. Currently with their built block packages, strokers, custom cams, tranny, etc...they could and would build a Z to any goal you'd like, as long as you have the money to play.

HR will probably be basically the same. It will probably have some updated heads and higher lift cams, and a compression bump.
