...to the original poster ah i dunt thinkg you will find the answear you seek with a 350z just get a new car man. Get a vet i think you be happy with that. I love the Z but you got to go out the way with it. Again you didnt spen nearly 50 k on this car. I know it looks like it, but it isnt. So turbo it and spend the extra few grand to make sure it stays in one pice.

You guys are such downers about going turbo, I say go for it. If you have the funds to build your engine while your at it you would run a very safe 425 RWHP. The sky is the limit if you wanna build your engine but it all gets expensive fast. also current single turbo kits are limited to much under 500whp, you will need twins for more. Good luck with your build and be conscious of monitoring your engine stats and service as required and you should be good.

The statement I made was just for example purposes... I have no clue what parts for a 350z will potentially fit a maxima (never owned a maxima to warrant research).
vze4fhpv - good luck with your decision. If I were to go turbo, I'd go twins. If I couldn't go twins, I'd go SC. Buddy of mine went with the procharger, slapped a pulley for 14psi and is now pushing 550whp. No hickups thus far. Research your butt off....don't take ppl's word for it...make your own educated choice based on your goals and how often you'll use the power.

There are pro’s and con’s to any set up you decide to go with. An engine is only as reliable as the driver wants it to be. If you drive your car WOT from light to light and beat the h*ll out of it, don’t expect it to last you 50k miles. I know this from my own experience. I blew a N/A motor with bolts on at 36k miles. I drive my car like a bat out of h*ll so I know that one day I’ll over stress the motor and it may go boom. What ever decision you make, know that nothing will last forever and if u go boom are you willing to get it fixed of go with a built motor

I think you might be right about the boost. I don't recall ATI making a 14 lb pulley (so probably 18 lb pulley). I usually have a drink in my hand when I'm at my buddy's house, so I could have heard wrong. He's built as well....just did the build last month I think. Didn't see him for a loooong time. He says he was working on his motor everyday. lol.
