I have a 2003 Z and I'm having a little transmission problem. I've heard many times about the 03's having problems but mine is a little weird. When cruising around the city i have no problems going into 3rd as smooth as ever, but when im using some of the power it grinds going into 3rd but no other gears. Could this be a clutch problem? Someone help please!!

 

Synchro issue. Nobody has replied because this has been a known issue since 2003 with Z's and still it gets asked like its not a common occurance. Please take a few minutes to read into this synchro issue, I suggest the maintenance section of the boards. Bottom line--hope your under warranty because most any dealer should replace your tranny.
