You should talk to Perdue, he has a old r32 trans lying around with a messed up 3rd gear I think. He blew that up with his stock RB setup. Are you guys gonna beef up the tranny at all? I vote for a dog box.

Lol he got a call this morning from me. We're gonna put his car up on the lift. I doubt the trans will be a direct bolt on. The width of the V6 as opposed to the L6 is significantly different. The R32/33 trans is good to about 350AWD for launching. The R34 is a little higher. We'll see soon though!

Wow. About time someone did this I guess. I always wondered what was needed to convert the G35x ATESSA to the Z33 chassis. Now we know. Thanks for doing all the legwork, I can't wait to see where this will all eventually end up.

Thats right. Jun mentioned that they were using a R34 tranny on the VQ with 800awhp. Doesn't mean that they didn't have to do some nasty tricks to make it bolt up but it shows that it can be done.

I saw it Friday... it is looking very near complete.
I think they are waiting for a last couple of parts... But I am sure they will let you all know as soon as it is done.
