Default Okada Products Plasma Direct?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Website is here and you can buy them from a number of places, including here

Looks like a direct replacement for the ignition coils. Might be snake oil, though. Kind of pricy, as well.....

Thats what I was thinking, but it helps to have others with the same opinion.

It makes me wonder what other EMS's are avalible that can control coil on plug that could possibly be retrofitted to a Z with a cable throttle body.

haltech ev112, motronic m600 are the best ems out there and the motronic can control the variable camshafts.

Anything new on these? Apparently some magazine tested them, and they helped, but with a magazine, you can never tell if the test was influenced by advertising dollars or not.

I think you meant Motec M600. Motronic is made by Bosch. The Motronic system is used by the GA cars and would be a real pain to use compared to the other two systems you listed as I don't believe it is sold as a stand-alone. It is the factory system for most Porsche cars.
