transgo Shift kit install, is gear selector stiffness normal???
Anyone that has has a transgo shift kit install please leave some feedback...
My 350z automatic has just had a transgo shift kit installed and everything seems to operate fine except that the gear selector is very stiff/heavy. Once its in gear it shifts through all gears fine. just getting it from park to any other gear is far more difficult than it was before the kit was installed. i see no clear binding issue with linkage outside tranny or inside where linkage passes behind valve body.
Is this a normal issue or should i be a lil concerned???

I've got a Transgo.Don't have the "stiffness" you are taliking about.
The Transgo is an internal valve mod.Should not effect the mechanics
of moving the shifter.I also changed my OEM shifter to a Momo
unit. However, had the OEM shifter installed when I had the Transgo mod
done. The Momo made no diff in ease of moving the shift lever. Its just
more ergometric and looks better too!
