JunJTan you're the lucky one without that problem. Is your oil always running low though??? Just because it doesnt make the sound like us doesnt mean your oil is at the right level. You should check out your oil level.

I think its stained too. But its only soap and water. I have a product that polishes and cleans off water spots on chrome material. Thats how i clean my exhaust tip. Gets rid of all water spots and puts some sort of wax coat on it.
I will try to clean the wheels with soap and water. If that doesnt work i will use some of my other products. And if that doesnt work, i will use the polisher. That should do the trick. If not then i will take my car back to the dealer and have them clean the wheel or get me a new set.
So we will see what happens.

I have an 06 base, around 10K miles and I don't have any noticeable oil consumption issue. I change oil (dino oil) every 3K miles and I don't drive that hard. I will have to ask the dealer next time I get my oil changed to see if they see any issue.

I will most certainly repay her back for the new engine. Whatever she wants. lol. Yeah you should have your dealer take a look into it.
ALso are you running synthetic or regular oil?? Cuz synthetic you dont need to change your oil so often. Every 6000 miles. FYI
whats "Fixed & +1"?????

Take your car to the dealer and have them put in a new engine or have them give you a new vehicle. As long as your car is still under warranty, everything will be free of charge.
Or you can file a case stating that your car is a lemon.

I drive my car really hard. I redlined it very often. I don't think it's the matter of you driving hard to cause the this problem. things have defects sometims. I will ask my dealer about it when I do the oil change next week.

I took my car for oil change bout 2 months ago and was low on oil I was like wtf?? Not driven hard,or redlined but with some spirited driving. I was surprised so I asked the crew to give me an oil consumption test, so the process was started. I came back 1000 miles later on the dot and oil
level seemed normal. I was like wtf Needless to say I keep
an eye on the oil now and check frequently.

For anyone that has problems with OIL CONSUMPTION, i suggest you take your vehicle to the dealer and have them take a look into the vehicle. Should not be making the rattling sound or have low oil.
Since this is for 2006 Z's, you should still be under warranty.
THats just my opinion. Before something else happens makes it worst.

Well if your engine dies due to low oil, trust me the dealer
will point the finger right at u and claim owner neglegance
which is true to an extent. You gota keep an eye on that
new car or not. If it gets to be a consistant problem then
the resolution is simple, Lemon Law attorney.

i have an 06 and after my oil change...the next week my oil psi idle is at like inbetween 0 and the 1st bar on the gauge...u think its due to the oil burning issues? if so do u think they would give me a new 07 motor?

Yeah. THey wont give you a 07 motor. Cuz first of all the 07 has a twin intake. I dont even think it will fit. Plus you have to change your hood too. They will just replace your engine with the 06 engine but brand new without the oil problem.
