Default OMG! 2007 dead clutch

On the way home I noticed I had to push in much further before I felt preasure. Sure enough it feels like the master cylinder is not working. Like at least 7 times, the clutch was stuck to the close to the floor! Checked all fuilds and they look good. What should I do until I can go to the dealership tomorrow?

Let me guess. It's your first stick shift. If not and no abuse, don't worry. Just go straight to the dealer if it will get you there or call them.

Damn, didnt expect this much negativity. Ive been driving stick for over 8 years. JSut thought it was odd it could happen to a brand new car. Totally feel that its the master cylinder or air in the lines.

Ive never been to a dealer for service before. Will they say anything about my springs or my wheel spacer? Will they expect me to pay for anything when the car is under warantee?

I posted before I read about the miles and babying it. You can't believe the discussions I've read by people new to a clutch and the Z at the same time. I know it's a bummer, but don't worry. It will be taken care of.

Default 2007 Clutch Sticking! FUG!

Looks Like I have just got this problem on my new 07 with 3500 miles. The friggin pedal is staying close to the floorboards and has very little travel. I can pop it back up but will stick everytime its depressed! The clutch barely disengages the tranny and the fluids look fine.
I done some searching and this is a master cylinder issue. Call in the dealer and scheduling a drop off. This shouldn't be happening this soon and pisses me off to have to deal with this. Good thing I have a beater to drive around. Nissan are you listening!?

I wonder if there will be a recall.

what really sucks is that now it won't even go into gear. I'm gonna have to have it towed. The friggin dealer better pay for it!

Normal problem with '07's. It's not your fault. Bring it to the dealer so they can replace your clutch assembly. They shouldn't care about spacers or springs.

don't pay attention to the uninformed, this is a common issue with the 07's, take it to the dealer

well at least some of the anxiety is gone, after hearing all the reports I was worried I'd get it and bam! sure enough, I got it. Well at least I can rest easy and get it behind me, got 3 more years to go with this car.

I wonder if this is only affecting early production runs, if so, the price you pay for the 'latest greatest' ho hum...
