Default "Clicking" Clutch

2006 - 19,xxx miles

After driving the car 15-20 minutes, upon depressing the clutch i feel a "click" or "pop" about halfway through it's travel. It also makes a thud sound as i pass that portion of the clutches moveable range. The gears engage normally and it doesn't seem to affect drievabliltiy. It's more of an annoyance, and not something that should be happening at all, let alone on a car with such low miles.

Curious if anyone else has experienced this? Would like to have a good idea of the issue before i make the nauseating trip to a local stealership.

Can't tell you what the cause is, but I am having the same issue with my car right now. Need to get a dealership visit scheduled myself.

I've had two 2005 enthusiasts Z's... It happened to both. The dealers explanation was that its nothing wrong and I should "not go to the drag strip as often..."

I drift dummy.

But it's just what they do. all the other z's i've ever driven do the exact same thing at idle too, when you just depress the clutch and then let it out. It gets louder if you put it in gear, then take it out and let out the clutch.

Hasn't affected anything as far as i know.

i had this problem. I put it on the lift, unbolted my clutch slave cylinder, rebolt it and teh problem went away. It's basically input that is making the clicking sounds. You'll know what i mean once you go underneat the car and look at the clutch slave cylinder.
