Default Oil change poll

Do you guys change your own oil via purchasing oil+filter from kragens? (cheapest) or Goto the 10 minute oil changers (moderate costs) or go straight to the dealer (most costly)?

I buy my own stuff but I don't do it myself. One of those things I don't mind paying 15$ for.

I usually do stuff on my own, but I get oil changes at the dealer so I have a record of getting it done...because my car loves to drink oil, so its a way of documenting oil consumption.

last time i went to the 10 min stop it took an f-ing hour - could not believe it. I'd like to do it myself but I don't want to jack it up and get underneathe the car - I'd rather pay 19.99 to not die - plus if you've got a drop its that much more of a *****. Anybody have any experience w/ those oil changers that suck the oil out for you? Do they work? They kinda look like they'd be unreliable...don't know tho...

Buy my own stuff (amsoil + mobil-1 oversize filter) last time I had a shop do the change for me (I provided the oil and filter) they didn't screw it on tight enough and on my way to zdayz I was shooting oil on the freeway.

I buy my Own stuff (Motul) which cost me about $36 and thats all I have to pay for. Take it to the Nissan dealership my Brother works at and My brother (ZCARBANDIT) helps me change my oil.

honestly changing your own oil isnt really worth the time....unless you've got lots of free time.

I do change my own though...lol

Something to catch the oil, oil, filter, oil crush washer, wrench (forget what size maybe 19mm?). Just drain it, change it (filter), plug it, fill it and bring your oil to autozone for free disposal

I change it myself, but I don't splurge on synthetic oil.

The bolts for the splash guard are like 10mm, and the oil pan bolt is like 13mm or 14mm.

I bring my own oil to dealer and they only charge $15 for filter and labor. Also, I have service record in case of warranty work
