Anybody here install a Quaife lsd? If so how long did it take and what other parts do I need?

 

I think the Quaife has everything needed to do the install and I've been told about two hours for install.

 

You need to get the correct tools to set the gear mesh and all the associated bearing spacers. I just took my pumpkin to a local trans shop that did it for about the same price as buying the tools.

 

I posted this question in another thread, but it seems appropriate here as well.

Does anyone know what the OEM gear ratio is on a Base Model? Does Quaife make different ratios? That is, when ordering or shopping for a QLSD--do I need to know a specific ratio or do they all come the same?

Also, about how much does it cost (in time and estimated $$$) to install one of these in a Base Z?
