Default Vq25hr???

What car is Nissan using/going to use this in? I'm assuming its a 2.5L V6 but is it the same block as the VQ35HR with a smaller bore? Maybe a possible Infiniti G25 in the future??? Just curious about the engine and Nissans plans for it....feedback much appreciated

Same bore, shorter stroke. Not for use in the U.S. I would guess. Just like all the previous other incarnations of the VQ (VQ25DE, VQ25DD, VQ30DET, VQ30DD, etc..), most were kept in Japan and not sent to the U.S. Same should hold true for the new HR.

It's already in the v35 chassis (g35) in japan they have 2 versions (maybe more) of the skyline. One with a 3.5 liter and one with a 2.5 liter

The VQ25HR is most likely going to end up in the altima coupe. The g35 is being given the N/A version of the GTR's 3.7 making it the G37.
