Default Anyone know where I can get this?

I have a water temp gage I am installing and I want to use it with Samco hoses, but I can't find a fitting to allow this with the Samco hose. I heard that GReddy makes one that has the fitting for the temp sensor and all you have to do is cut a 2"-3" section out of the hose and slide the ends together into the fitting. I've checked, but can't find anything but the Blitz hose with the hole already in the hose.

Can anyone tell me where I can get this?

that wouldnt be ideal, because it wouldnt really be the coolant temp of the engine. i would weld on a bung to the aluminum water outlet pipe bolted to the back of the cylinder heads by the stock coolant sensor. Or. You could weld a bung to the steel pipe on the passenger side of the engine if you put it before the water bypass... meaning closer to the back of the heads. But to put it on the radiator hose isnt really the most accurate because the thermostat isnt always open, and the flow to the radiator is often restricted by that. Thats just me personally, if I were to bother I would want it mint.

Blitz makes a silicone hose with a spot for a water temp sensor built in. I have it on my Z...

Here's where I bought it:

Although I'm sure one of the vendors on here can get it for you also.. Worked well for me and was pretty accurate when compared to the factory temp sensor.

Thanks for that info on the Blitz hose. I appreciate your input, but I already have the Samco's and need to make that one work. Taping the other areas might be a good idea, but I would like to do it myself and not tap hard lines. I know this part exists, but I can't find it.

Anyone else know where this hose splice can be found?

Autometer makes one:

Summit sells it:

Have fun cutting up your brand new silicone hose.

Both are good options, although I'd prefer the Blitz for less hassles.

You could always sell the upper hose from the Samco kit or keep it as a spare. Like I said up to you but I'm not a big fan of cutting brand new parts up...
