Does anyone know if the Defi VSD Basis HUD will work with the Z, and if so, what are the wiring hookups?

I did search several times, but the Basis did not come up.

And yes, I know the Defi VSD Concept requires Control Unit II Version 2.0 to work with the 350Z.

Just don't want to spend the money if the dam thing won't work.

 

There is a memeber that has this unit. It looks like he flush mounted the 'projector' unit in the dash so it looks stock. So, i would think it can be done. Screen name = Chebosto.......

EDIT: You want the Basis, not the Concept..........I think the one Chebosto has is the Concept

 

Yes, Cheston has the Concept (since forever it seems). The Basis is much cheaper and displays only the speed and rpms.
