Talking What would you guys think about this.....

After another member talked about HUD I started thinking how cool that would be and I've been talking to the HOLO people who have developed this and the MSRP is only $486.00. They are trying to find vendors now. This is how HUD is supposed to look!!

Any ??? contact these guys Info@bigbuddyperformance.com because so far they have been very quick to answer any and all of my questions. They did say that the colors are now red and orange.

How does it fit up in the dash though? The corvettes being stock obviously is flush down into the dash, how big is this thing going to be sitting up there and how does it attach and have the brightness adjusted for day/night use?

They did say you can flush mount this, but the more I think about it, I'm not sure because of our dash layout. If it does have to sit on top then the unit is 7x7. I'm waiting for a reply on this to see just how difficult the install is.

They said it does have a day/night dimmer mode. Once I get more info I'll let you know. I just think this would be cool as he11.

I don't think that 486 would be the final price. On my brothers vette there is a film imbeded on the windshield. that windshield would run him 2k if it broke. So I don'y see how our windshield is going to take it without some cheesy film infront of it for that price.

The color has been changed to red/orange for better viewing. The price also includes a film that goes on the inside of your w/s. I'm wondering how tough it would be to clean.

Thats Columbia, South Carolina. I moved down here 4 years ago from northern VA. I knew I was in trouble when I turned on the news and they said "There will be a 103 car train comeing through town today." It grows on you though. Things are alot slower down here.

Very slick. If the install is clean, I'm sure you would see interest. With our guage pod, I'm not sure it will be possible. If they can pull it off, lets see some pics.
