Default NISMO Adjustable Short Shifter?

Hi,
Does anyone have this SS? I've read tons of negative feedback and regrets on SS for the Z. I was wondering if the NISMO Adjustable SS is any different, in terms of making noise and problems with going into Reverse or other gears grinding?

Thanks in advance.

The NISMO height adjustable SS is the same as the Stillen. EXACTLY the same, theyre both manufactured from the same company. I personally dont like SS's in the Z's. The stock shifter is notchy as it is, putting on a SS will make it worse. Id put the stock shifter from a CD009 tranny and call it a day.

I put a Voodoo shift *** with the ball, and it was about an inch shorter so it was like doing the short shifter, it's already a pretty short throw anyway.

I have the adjustable short shifter made by FastShift for Nismo, Stillen, and everyone else. I got mine from Gspec though. I like it personally..

Ive tried the B&M, NISMO/Stillen, C's. Personally, all of them were notchy. The C's was probably the smoothest but I still like the throw of the CD009 stock shifter.

I've heard good things about the Rogue SS, but the groupbuy had some issues with missing pieces.

Does it make any ambient noise or any other detrimental side-effects?

I had the first unit ever produced and as such it had a little bit of rattle occasionailly but I fixed it by changing the mounting cup out to the new one they use with the rubber bushings and the noise went away. Aside from that it doesn't have any draw backs in my opinion. I sometimes forget its even there after having it for so long. Until I drive someone elses Z without one.
