Yeah. Most suspension mods, if not all, will work. Rims will work. 06+ aftermarket bumpers will work, 03+ sideskirts and rear bumpers will fit.

The only real difference is the engine and the piping back. So basically you can mod for looks, just not for performance yet.

I'd start with the suspension and wheels, since those can be done now. Then save for the engine!

Default what can we expect?

What kind of gains do you guys think we'll be seeing on the 07 Z vs the prevous models for the typical mods? Its already been said when both air filters were pulled out there was no gain. People have also suggested after seeing the stock headers, that there might not be much of a gain there either.

I'm going to be purchasing an 07 in a few months, trying to become as educated as possible before I do so.

Yay time for bullsh1t speculation.

My guesstimates:
I suspect someone will have a TT kit for the VQ35HR within 1 year and it will do 500whp safely on stock block.

I suspect N/A mods and tuning will net you 15-25HP at most, and 35-40 with cams ...

The UTEC won't work on this motor and it'll be awhile I bet before they make one that does.

^^..yeah i was aware...I was saying when something is avail.

hey matt, I'll be in at Performance Factory today for test pipe install and before and after dynos. I cant wait. The test pipe install is a custom job that requires the cat flange that mates to the header to be removed and welded to the test pipe. The flanges on the header side of the cat are different. Jeremy is taking it to a local welder there. Hope everything goes smoothly, as cats arent cheap from the dealer. I'm hoping for 10-12 rwhp gain.

Check out the top of the tuning forum. They are looking for 07 ECU to hack and come out with a reflash.

I think we can expect more then 15-25whp for NA mods and tuning, considering just the Greddy TT exhaust and test pipes gave 18whp, no?
