A good read. Makes me hesitate now about Dweeb's Q-shifter. You say they're releasing a short shifter based on these principles. That'll be for the Z specifically? Where did they mention this as a project, and any idea when it'll be available?

In theory, this is a much better shfter. hope they come out with it.
