Like I said, it will be a couple months before I have real updates. Although I did get word today that a near production prototype is on it's way here. It's just one piece of the puzzle though.

Those intakes look great... Twice the heat-soak now being drawn into the intakes for all that power-robbing goodness~ Lol!

theres a dyno provided in another thread for these intakes, not a manufacturers dyno but an actual performance shop.. 10whp. Stop critizicing every part that comes out nowm for the 07's you know we dont have much.

so is there anyone here that has any anticipated tuners for the access port? i was thinking last night about it when i was going to sleep and i remember when the subaru accessport hit the market... it took a little while before the tuner shops got good at tuning with it.

AP has been around for a while now, there are a lot of people who handle the Z and/or Subie's so it shouldn't be too hard to find a good tuner right out of the box.

Retract my previous statement IOS performance was the shop but they dynoed the stillen boxes. So yeah if it is a manufacturers dyno then it probably is off by about 5whp's, and looking at the fact that it doesn't have airboxes then the heat will affect them pretty bad.

I am actually taking my Z to Cobb tomorrow for more intake test fitting. Be patient people, it is on the way and going to be well worth the wait!

I can't wait until Cobb finally releases everything for the Z, especially the AP. I traded my 05 STi which used Cobb's AP & Protune for EM. The Protune was phenominal and I gained a whopping 50 whp and 87 wtq on the STi with the tune.

When they finally release the stuff I will do a full bolt-on with intake, cams, headers and exhaust. Then it's off to Chicago to have Jorge Camillio from P & L Motorsports Protune my Z. Jorge is the premier tuner of STi's in the country and I will trust my car only to him. If he can work his magic on my STi I can't wait to see what he can do with the Z.

And thanks a million to the OP for allowing Cobb to use his car as a test mule. I for one really appreciate it and you are helping the entire Z community.

Thanks bro!!!

I have heard nothing but good things from Subaru owners about Cobb, but have seen absolutely nothing but empty promises from Cobb about the AP. Their Z forum is full of missed delivery dates and wait and see promises. It would be nice if they deliverd something, anything at all, so we can see if they're serious.
