I just saw this thread and already posted the email I got in another thread but here it is again. Don't know how legit they are but time will tell. The numbers look low to me for the stock engine but maybe you guys know better.
What is an H-Pipe. Also I thought Raceboy spoke with Borla and they said they were not going to have a dual exhaust. Looks like the the headers are not worth it with the dual and h-pipe setup.

Wow, if it is a fake, people have alot of time on their hands. Whoever wrote this email spent time on it as they researched weights, performance of brand 'S', etc. I know it's not that hard to do because alot of that information is already out there but then to go ahead and send personal emails to people with dyno numbers is unbelievable.
He responded to my email. They make the best and have been around for a long time. Have a Borla on my WRX and it sounds real mean. Claim high HP for that one too but I never dynoed. There is a noticable increase though.
his email is davidb@borla.com, and a vendor in another thread confirmed it earlier today. I will be at the sema ias on friday, and will be making a report on 350zfrenzy.com (thats who I work for now, and how I got the media pass) on friday evening. They have a booth and I will confirm it or let you know its a lie. I think its true, but have a hard time believing the hp numbers.

Do the numbers make sense?
Headers = 11.5 hp
Exhaust = 24 hp
Headers + Exhaust = 25hp ????
I know horsepower doesn't just add up like in video games, but isn't this way off? Is it a dyno error? Or does the combination of the two actually cause it to work against itself?

(this can be the case MANY times with cars that are somewhat maxed out from the factory (not enough backpressure), and people think all you have to do is add more exhaust flow to the engine and automatically you get more HP, but on some cars this isn't the case, usually when a product is researched VERY well, you can even gain a few HP on a great stock engine, but not as much as a POS engine from the factory, this is one of the main reasons I will wait and see before I purchase, another example is when I read a test of HEADERS for an integra in SCC, 60-70% of the headers tested were ether equal in HP or BELOW stock, they have done the same thing with exhaust, etc....)

I send a email yestarday and this is they respond:
The system is not priced until it is released, it is true that you will gain 20+ horsepower on average. If you have anymore questions please feel free to contact me either by e-mail or by phone (877)462-6752 ext.212
Thanks,

Well, Mr. David Borla gets my apologies. I was skeptical about the information I received from him but according to Mike (2003z) he is legit and they are coming out with a true dual system. Check out Mike's report from the SEMA on 350zfrenzy.com. I am definitely interested in this Borla system and can't wait for more information on it.
