Default Retainers and raising rev limiter

Sorry if it has been asked before, but I just couldnt find any satisfactory answers.....

I have 5AT and thinking about raising my rev limiter to 7000+ rpm. I have Tomei 268 camshafts and jwt valve spring. My questions are:

1, what's the recommended/ safe guess rev limiter for stock retainers?
2, How important is actually aftermarket retainers and what increase of rpm can I expect with these aftermarket retainers?
3, what brand of retainers you guys recommend?
4, Any other thing that you guys think I need to purchase?

Thanks.

I wouldnt do more than 7100rpm's on an NA non revup Z. Even with cams you wont be making power up there so no point...

so, does it mean that aftermarket retainer is pretty much useless since I have no benefit of increasing my rev limiter more than 7100?
