Since my 2003 5AT Enthusiast comes with VLSD standard...
If I wanted to upgrade from the 3.3 to the 3.5 pumpkin, I will need to buy an open 3.5 pumpkin, correct? I will not need a new VLSD, correct?

 

it'll come with it unless the person you swap with has a 6MT base model with no VLSD

 

Unless you plan on putting in a Quaife, you need to get it with VLSD. You cannot transfer the VLSD from the 3.358 to the 3.537 diff. If you want VLSD, you need to get a pumpkin that has it. Its part of your pumpkin.
