I just picked up a used 350z today with 30k miles. Runs great, smooth, etc. However, when I was parking in the garage today, I heard a noise when I lift up the clutch and give it gas. Almost like a metal squeaking sound. I was thinking it was my clutch cable...Has anyone had this before? Is our clutch hydrolic?

 

Could be a bad TO bearing. Is it a metal on metal sound, or just a squeek.

 

Its a metal squeak. Almost sounds like a brake squeak... Kinda similar. That would be my best way to describe it. Like a quick brake sqeak that kinda sounds like its coming from the clutch area.

Its not a long sound. just quick sqeak.

 

Is it the popcharger noise?

 

No, the car is bone stock.

 

I don't know what the squeaking is but our clutch is hydraulic.

PS- you may just need to spray a little wd-40 on the clutch pedal.

 

Yea, I'm not too worried about it my last 350z I had for 62 days did the same thing come to think about it.. I don't think it's the pedal and I'm kinda ruling out the clutch cuz I actually took the car out today to listen to it and it's after the clutch is let out and giving it decent throttle at low RPM's.
