SGP also does full auto trans rebuilds. My spare trans is there now and s/b done this week. I'll do a full right up after the swap and re-tune in a few weeks. We'll be pushing for 550+ whp. SGP claims it will hold much more.

roncfpz that would be great info yeah i think i talked to you over the internet about this same subject a couple of months ago. Im glad your car is comiing along it taking awhile but it will hopefully be worth it. If it works out as planned you will have one fast *** car. Hit the track up and show the manual drivers whats up with the auto z lol. Your car will stay in boost during shifts unlike the manuals that can make a good difference interested in seeing the outcome.
VB and TC upgrades have been available for some time improving shift times and launching abilities. Paired with a good fluid cooling system you have a pretty reliable setup for modest FI applications. I have been waiting to hear about a SGP built tranny, so glad to see you should be getting yours soon Ron. Its also nice to see GTM getting into the market as choice always helps. In the end a built auto should be a very nice option for the FI 5AT cars. The 6MT will need a new clutch to hold the boost so this option for us is definitely less money than a 6MT conversion + clutch and flywheel.
Sam, are you using Alto Red Eagle plates?

SGP will treat you right.... Level 10 FTMFL!! Stay away. I was strubborn and tried to go with them against the advice of people on these boards and i paid for it in the form of a 25% restocking fee.
I'd just like to add that even though I got the SGP valve body my tranny seems to be acting funny now during the 1 to 2 shift like is shifting twice or something. I went like 5k on the tranny boosted at about 350whp before i did this upgrade do to a couple of mishaps with level 10 and then a bogus valve body from MardiGrasMax on these boards
Thats not good. I only get a double shift if Im cruising along in drive and nail the gas. It will down shift to 3rd then again to second. Have you talkeed to Kyle about your issue?
I have the stock 5AT tranny at 356 whp on a Mustang Dyno. The only mod I did was raise the rev limiter from 6800 to 7100 rpm which was done via a Technosquare ECU reflash. I am very happy with the shifts at WOT & have not experienced any double shifts during downshifts at AT mode. I was contemplating on valve body upgrade in the future but after seeing the potential issues here I'd stay w/ my stock set up for now. Here is my write up on the TN:
