Default WHAT THE HELL? Strange Cut-out at low rpm?

Situation: random cut-out / bogging when no where near redline...
car: 06 z Manual Tranny, 11000 miles...
Basically I will be, for example: in 3rd gear, around 4000 rpm's, and the car cuts out as if im banging off redline... I have the RPM set to 6900 so its not that...
And just today, I wasnt driving hard at all, and I put it into 2nd, and it bogged at like 2000 rpm... for no reason... like it wouldnt rev up, it was cutting out at 2k...

When in neutral the rpm's go up if I step on the gas, but in gear it wouldnt rev...
In idle, it would sputter... So I turned it off, waited 20 minutes, turned it back on, and it was fine....
is this a broken tranny???? any body had this problem? My only mod is an AEM cold air, If I take it in to have warrany work, put the stock intake back in ? any suggestions???

Your ECU went into "limp mode." I'm not sure the exact cause of this, but if it keeps happening, you may be due for some service.

does it happen when you wash your car, because i have that problem every now and then when i wash it and i try and get on it right after ex. i wash it and and try to accelerate and the car sputters for a sec then goes, think its just a little water in the arifilter i have an aem intake also

yes it did happen after a car wash... so its just hydro locking????

It's a long shot here but check your maf. When i installed my jwt pop charger and it still had oil in it, it got on my maf and caused me to bog until i took it out and cleaned it. But maybe you gotta something in it.

sounds like MAF problem....
either don't have the MAF hooked to the intake system or your MAF is shot. If your MAF is shot my bet is on the oil for the intake. The oil prolly got to the MAF

also try cleaning out the throttle body and Idle Air Control Valve.... however, I seriously doubt that it the IACV that's causing the problem at 11000 miles
