Default 100HP N20 installed and sreaming!

It's done folks, new line and new jets.

Only had about 3 pounds left in the bottle and it was at about 750 lbs with the heater on.

We did an easy 12.9 with two people in the car AND the sub box.

We did a 15mph roll and the car launched like a big dog, the timing was slightly rich and it purred with ZERO detonation.

Track day is Wednesday 12.9 is now a very possible aspect.

Probably better if the car hooks.

Running on street Nitto's.

We will put ET STreets on this beast if we have too but my butt dyno tells me we will be 12.'s on street tires easy. That's right, easy.

Nissan should write me a check

2 more days and we will have pics, a write up etc.

Trying to get a camcorder.

ElecRto Jug aka Jimmy you happen to have one to get the full run instead of stills? That way we could host it to FTP!

wow, very impressive!!! Im sure you said this in another post, but do you have it set to switch on at WOT or what? I really look forward to seeing what happens in 12 runs or so with a 100 shot, hopefully it will hold!

100 shot is definetly crazy. I thought 70 was crazy. I havent had the chance to put her on the track yet..Hopefully soon..Gonna add another fuel pump for the NOS and Dyno first..

if this works out well long term w/ a lot of shots of n20 then it reaffirms that the Z engine can handle extra 100hp at the crank, and i hear turbo is slightly easier on the engine than n20, but then again you are on boost way more than you are on n2o so i guess the jury is still out.

Default No negatives at all

No detonation, no rough idle, nothing.

Just squirelly sideways for 10 feet at every dead stop with TC off and this was before we realized the bottle heater was off lol.

In an Auto folks not a manual and without the brake fuse pulled!

Yeah 12.'s I feel em in my blood.

We had 2 tenths in the car easy with 2 people and all the stereo stuff and the bottle heater off (it's wired to my steareo lol.)

Don't ask, I have it fused off at my distro block for safety and had turned the stereo off.

Can't wait to see what 1000 lbs of a heated full bottle feels like!

The wait the wait.....

Your running it wet........ are you POSITIVE our intake manifolds mix the fuel and nitrous well enough into each chamber. My last car had issues with puddling. When shooting big it was dumping like 50% of the fuel into ONE bay, and the rest sparcley everywhere else. Eventually BOOM.

I went with the venom kit, shot 125+ and it was FINE. This was because it was delivering fuel evenly at each injector. Just a heads up............ Once you get 100+ you need to be on the look out.

Do you have any gauges installed or a fuel pump (maybe this was already asked, sorry).

Nice time, what mph's did you get?

I think a V6 engine can take a 100 shot without problems if you're running premium fuel. You should check the sparks to be sure everything is fine.

I must agree. I upped my shot to 100. Holy *********!

Over the weekend while down in maryland I raced a stage 2+ Audi S4. Stage 2+ being chip, exhaust, downpipes, and intake. Off the launch he put 1/2 car length on me due to his AWD and that was the first time i launched the Z. But 1/2 car length ain't bad at all. After I stopped spinning second, I pulled on him like whitney houston on a crack pipe. by third gear I had 2 - 3 car lengths on him. By fourth, it wasn't countable.

I had NO IDEA the car would pull that hard.

Default Question for MAXHAX

At what point do you activate the nitrous, ie first gear? second gear? and do you keep it activated until you reach the finish line?

Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing. Doesnt it shut down for a second between each shift then LURCH back on again? Im assuming you have it on a WOT switch.

Hi,

Congratulations on your track times and the success with the NOS system. I have one question. I have not seen any published performance figures for the A5 transmission. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the performance difference between the m6 and A5. Also, if there is a performance difference what do you think a car would run set up just like yours but with a 6mt? I have always heard that NOS has more results on automatic transmissions vs. manuals.

Thanks in advance.

THis is exactly what I am waiting for. I need to see how these cars are running on a 100 shot. My friend is building a Camara 383 LT1 motor and I need to be able to keep up with him at the track. Too bad he will be running low 12's.....At least I won't be running 14's then!!!

Launch on N20 and stay on N20 that is the only way.

Forget about a good 60' with street tires it's only going to happen after 60 feet in the top end!

My plugs are brand new coppers 2 degrees colder than stock and this car has never seen anything but Premium Union 76 Nascar approved fuel.

You can go through 1-5 in the Manual mode of an Auto but on N20 that rev limiter comes up VERY quick and it ain't noythng nice when you hit it. It feels like getting ***** slapped haha but if you can go through the gears manually on the A5T and NOT hit the rev limiter you CAN and WILL gain a full tenth.

Try it both ways.

I do not have a window switch it's WOT on or nothing but the heater was the best investment to my system I made remember with the 13.4 and 65hp jets we had 2 bottles and one was always kept warm in between runs and had to be changed out every run PITA. The bottle warmer rocks for the track and only cost like 130 bucks. Power and ground that's it!

These grave yards have me screwed up I thought tomorow was wednesday it's only Tuesday

Happy Cinco De Mayo.

I hate to speculate but the weatherman just called for like 60 degrees and no rain on Wednesday so if we hook it's 12.9 miminum, 12.8?

Hehe.

What else can I take out of this thing to lose weight?

The track offers 100 Octane where I go but it's 6 bucks a gallon!

Can't wait.

Jimmy I got a good Olympus with 17X Zoom.

Flo you down to line up again ?

Bought mine directly from ZEX.

You need to call them and get the right ones.

Ask for Wade or Joey and mention my350z.com

http://www.zex.com/store/merchant.mv...egory_Code=HSP

It's an essential mod for N20. I used to use NGK's but they don't make coppers for our cars yet.

Someone mentioned thast Denso might have one, I went with what was tried and true and available at the time.

I prefer NGK like I said (which I am told is what our stock ones are exceot stock is platinum and you need the 2 degrees colder.
